Bright Side of Life
The Bright Side of Life is Rebelution's second and most recent album. This album was number 1 on the itunes best reggae albums of 2010. Its about what it says, looking at the bright side of life. It was a perfect accomplice to there first album since they are about completely different things. The first was about dealing with your problems this one was about forgetting about them. This album is so good that it was hard for me to pick a favorite song. Every song on every one of Rebelution's album is my favorite song. The melody, the drums, the bass, and the guitar just come together so well. On this link you can listen to my favorite song its called outta control.
Courage To Grow
Rebelutions first album was called Courage to Grow. This album is absolutely amazing. The songs were about growing and moving on with life even after your world seemed over. This is the perfect cd to pop in whenever your feeling a little down and out. You can find my favorite song from the album on this link here. It's called Running.
Bonnaroo
This year at Bonnaroo music and arts festival in Manchester, Tn was Rebelutions first time playing there. Of course, I was in attendance. And out of all the great names that played at the festival such as Jay Z, Kings of Leon, Damian Marley and Nas, Steve Wonder, and so many other fantastic musicians, Rebelution was probably my favorite. This video is a little clip of them live at bonnaroo for you guys to enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTPn1G2jSl8&feature=related
My Favorite Band IN THE WORLD
Rebeleution is my favorite band ever. They are a reggae band based out of Santa Barbara, California. I have seen them in concert 7 times and it never gets old. They put on the best live show I have ever seen. I not only love their unique style and sound but the messages that they convey in their songs. They sing about bringing peace to society, changing the way people view our government, and how we have become a materialistic society. Their songs are very easy to relate to. No one really understands how obsessed I am with this band. From the moment I heard that sound I fell in love. I can't wait till my next show. I have met the singer and the bassist. Unfortunately I don't have a picture with them but they are really down to earth cool guys. After they're shows they always come to were the crowd is and talk to everyone. To understand how down to earth they are you should listen to this song called Wake up call
